Rachel describes herself as a military brat who has traveled all over the world. When Rachel's father changed jobs, he moved the family to North Carolina to start something new.

After discovering Jay Andrews through a friend and stylist already working at the salon, Rachel joined the salon with the intention of growing her career while leveraging her knowledge of hair and make-up. Rachel enjoys working with all sorts of people and seeing others walk out of the salon with bright smiles on their faces.
