Heather is originally from Kernersville, NC, but moved to Raleigh in 2009, joining the jay andrews family in Fall of 2009. She attended the Cosmetology Institute, and also received additional advanced training with Aveda. Heather loves all aspects of doing hair, but enjoy highlights the most.

Heather has wanted to be a hair stylist ever since she was a little girl. At the moment her main hobby consists of husband and family (recently blessed with their second son), although she also enjoys cheer and the occasional coaching opportunity. Heather is most inspired by her Mother, Nana, and Aunt Patricia, and considers those three women to be "The greatest thing since sliced bread!"
